Diamond Open Access Mandate
CISR champions barrier-free scholarly communication. All journal articles, research reports, and working papers hosted on this portal are accessible free of charge without paywalls or subscription barriers. Authors retain copyright under CC BY 4.0.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, browsing, or downloading research materials from the CISR website (cisr.pages.dev and cisres.org), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Publication Ethics guidelines.
2. Permitted Scholarly Use & Citation
Users are permitted and encouraged to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of CISR research outputs, provided that:
- Appropriate academic credit is given to the original authors and to CISR as the publisher.
- A direct DOI or permanent URL link to the official publication is included in the citation.
- Modifications or derivative analyses clearly indicate that changes were made and do not imply institutional endorsement of speculative claims.
3. Author Rights & Copyright Retention
Authors contributing to CISR journals (CJIT, CJSS) or repository series retain unencumbered copyright of their scholarly works. By submitting manuscripts, authors grant CISR a perpetual, non-exclusive license to publish, archive, index, and distribute the work worldwide across digital repositories and indexing databases.
4. Empirical Data & Replication Code
Datasets and econometric code released in the CISR Empirical Database are provided for academic replication, meta-analyses, and policy simulation. Users may not scrape or use platform resources for abusive automated extraction without permission.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties & Research Integrity
CISR publications reflect the peer-reviewed scholarly findings of individual researchers and do not necessarily represent the official political stance of partner universities. Materials are provided "as is" for scientific inquiry and educational purposes.
